PM99 Golf Multicolor Slope Gauge Collection — Zinc-Alloy Pocket Green Reader

Pros

• · Across the generic zinc-alloy round green-reader category, buyers commonly describe the marker as solid, heavy and well made for the price, with no batteries required.
• · Compact pocket-sized round format that users of this style say is convenient to carry.
• · Listing covers a multicolor collection and lists gift occasions including birthdays, holidays, housewarmings, business gifts and award commemorations.

Cons

• · Independent testing of this gadget type found the level registers only fairly extreme slope, often shows nothing on gentle breaks, and gives a single spot reading, so it cannot read the full putt line.
• · Similar bubble-level green-reading markers are not permitted in tournament or competition play — practice and casual rounds only.
• · Buyer results for this class are mixed: beginners like the reassurance of seeing slope, while many call it a rough reference and some say it only confirms what the eye already sees.
• · Owner feedback on this class warns the spirit bubble can split or separate if the tool is shaken or jostled, after which it is unusable.
• · Some older or long-sighted users find the small bubble and scale hard to see and read.

Fit notes

Pocket-sized round marker format. Users of this style say the compact size carries easily in a pocket, though some older or long-sighted players find the small bubble and scale hard to read. Check the actual measurements against how comfortably you read small markings.

Buy if

You want an inexpensive, battery-free pocket marker for casual practice rounds and you accept a rough up/down, left/right read taken at the ball. It also works as a small gift item, provided you handle it gently so the bubble stays intact.

Skip if

You need a tournament-legal green read or a full putt-line read; this class of bubble marker is not permitted in competition and only gives one spot reading. Skip it if you are long-sighted and find small bubbles and scales hard to read.
