Disclosure

Affiliate disclosure

How Fashionreps handles affiliate links, referrals, provided samples, sponsorships, and paid arrangements without allowing commercial relationships to determine editorial conclusions.

Affiliate and referral links

Some product, marketplace, and shopping-agent links may be affiliate, referral, sponsored, or otherwise commercially tracked. If a reader clicks such a link and later registers or completes a transaction, Fashionreps may receive a commission without increasing the price charged to that reader.

Where applicable, outbound commercial links may use attributes such as rel="sponsored nofollow". The presence or absence of a commercial link does not by itself determine whether a product is included or recommended.

Editorial independence

Commercial relationships help support the operation of the site but do not authorize invented test results, unsupported claims, hidden material limitations, or guaranteed favorable coverage. Editors remain responsible for conclusions published under their names and must evaluate the evidence available for the relevant product.

An affiliate relationship does not mean that Fashionreps controls the price, stock, fulfillment, policies, or service quality of the destination website.

Provided samples

When a hands-on review is based on a product supplied by a seller, brand, agent, or other commercial party, that source should be disclosed where it may affect how readers understand the review. A provided sample does not guarantee publication, a positive opinion, or a recommendation.

Products independently purchased by Fashionreps should be identified as independently purchased where that information is relevant to the review methodology.

Sponsorships and paid placements

Paid advertising, sponsorships, and paid placements should be clearly distinguishable from independent editorial content. A material commercial arrangement should be disclosed on or near the affected content rather than relying only on this general policy page.

Absence of a paid-placement label means the page is not presented as paid advertising; it does not necessarily mean that no affiliate link is present.

Third-party prices and services

Shopping agents, marketplaces, sellers, payment providers, warehouses, QC services, and carriers operate independently and set their own prices, fees, availability, terms, and policies. Readers should confirm final costs and conditions on the destination website before registering, purchasing, or shipping.

Questions about a relationship

Questions about a specific disclosure or commercial relationship may be submitted through our contact page. Our broader authorship, sourcing, and correction standards are described in the editorial policy.
